The Killing Moon - Second Arc

So originally this was going to be about the Sons of Eden coming to assassinate/execute Sam, as one of the few Breeders having a female child. And in my mind, it was going to be about the Winchesters defending the cabin—and Sam—and the Sons of Eden being taken almost wholly by surprise because they didn't expect that kind of resistance from 'civilians'.

And…mostly, that's what it's still about.

(I can still use the main thrust of this idea; the three of them trapped by the standoff in the cabin and the secondary idea comes in when they try to get Sam out of there or something similar)

But I keep getting images of Sam being taken hostage for an unknown period of time, which doesn't jibe with the Sons of Eden's stated agenda. So I'm trying to find away around that.

Two thoughts:

1. The pheromones affects one of the SoE members to a point where he abandons 'the mission' (especially after John & Dean have picked off most of his fellows) and kidnaps Sam for himself.

2. One of the SoE is actually an undercover agent of some stripe and he starts to help Sam escape, but is affected by the pheromones to an extent that he becomes Sam's jailer instead of Sam's rescuer. Has the bonus effect of Sam's slow dawning horror as he realizes what the pheromones are doing and tries to appeal to the cop/agent's better nature.

I also see a moment (probably right before Sam's kidnapped/taken hostage) where one of the SoE has a gun to the back of Sam's head and he has to beg—not for his own life, but for the baby's—and how it hurts his pride, but at the same time, his pride is SO MUCH LESS than saving his daughter's life.

Narratively, I'd say that the agent shoots the shooter at this point to save Sam's life and Sam is just overcome with relief and then you get that slow morph of horror as you realize the agent's been affected by the pheromones and he has no intention of letting Sam go.

I need to think about how far I'm willing to go with the non-con on this. I mean, I have this image of the guy wanting to fuck Sam and Sam essentially prevaricating with the fear that it'll hurt the baby (which is not an inapt fear, all things being equal) and so the guy essentially forces Sam to suck him off instead. Sam very much does not want to pretend this is Dean or anyone else. I see him with his arm curved around his belly protectively while he does it, reminding himself that it's for the baby. It's really galling for him to not be able to physically protect himself or even respond in any physically active way for fear of hurting or losing the baby. He's angry about being reduced to this more feminine role and the loss of his male privilege just because he has a uterus. He hates being forced into this position out of fear.

So…presumably, Sam would go into labor while still being held captive. His captor doesn't want to take him to the hospital because then he'd lose Sam, so he's insisting Sam's going to have to deliver naturally, which—HORRORS!—is not Sam's preferred option, of course (he's heard Chris's birth story, as well as the other guys on the 'net.). Dean (and John) show up and save him and it's a race to get him to a birthing center before Sam (and the baby) die trying to deliver naturally. Sam keeps insisting that if it gets too far, they'll cut the baby out of him because she deserves to live. Dean and John do the usual song and dance that it won't be necessary.

Get Sam to hospital, Sam safely delivers baby girl by the skin of his teeth. I think this would be the last straw for Sam; he and Dean and the baby are never going to be safe because the government is full of stupid fuckwads that can't protect him but threaten to imprison him to make him breed and take his baby away because he's an unfit parent, etc. The deal is no longer worth it. So he tells John and Dean that they have to find a way to get the chip out of him and then they all need to disappear.

Thinking about it last night, Sam would probably plan to kill old boy in his sleep, when the physical disparity between them will be the best negated. DO the pheromones affect the agent to an extent that he either forgets to restrain Sam or does so imperfectly? But. Hmm. Based on the whole going into labor thing, Sam either doesn't kill the agent or the agent goes to sleep while Sam's in labor, which…damn. Could you even DO that?

(so…maybe Sam ends up killing the agent while handcuffed to something. He searches the body for the key, but the agent doesn't have it on him, meaning Sam's stuck and in labor and starting to panic. Dean and John show up and find him and get him loose.)
