Sweet Charity (Maygra) - Musings and Questions
Initial thoughts and questions to be answered.
1. The past (primarily told through flashbacks).
Sam and Dean have pretty much always been attracted to each other. But for a number of reasons, they've always been afraid of acting on it. So they sublimate it by fucking guys that look like each other. Neither one of them knows about the other until, shortly before Sam leaves for Stanford, they're in the same bar and see each other with their respective doppelgangers. The boys freeze and stare at each other for a long time and then go their separate ways. They never talk about it.
2. Sam & Dean are investigating a series of murders. Sam gets kidnapped.
At first, there's no obvious indication that the deaths are supernatural in origin; all the men seem to die of 'natural' causes. What tips Sam and Dean off that there is a supernatural component?
How do I split up Sam and Dean long enough for Sam to get kidnapped?
Why Sam and not Dean? Is it random, or deliberate?
(maybe BOTH of them are kidnapped, and either Dean doesn't know Sam's there and escapes on his own or they get separated in the escape and Sam doesn't make it out?)
3. Sam has been kidnapped by a cult practicing sex magick; they want to use him as a power source.
The power comes from unreleased sexual tension, which means that the subject has to be kept in a state of heightened sexual arousal for as long as possible without release. The longer the subject stays aroused, the more power that is generated and the greater 'amplitude' of the power. When the subject finally succumbs to orgasm he (she? Are we going strictly with males? Are the acolytes also male or are they the females?) dies.
4. Dean searches for and finds Sam.
How does Dean find Sam? What trail of clues does he follow to find where Sam's being kept?
5. Dean has to have sex with Sam for the first time to break the spell.
Dean doesn't want to do it. This is where the last part of the flashback comes in, when they're at the bar together and they see each other. They've been building to this moment for YEARS and Sam has to make Dean see that. Also, it's the only way to break the spell and save his life.
6. Aftermath.
You know, in a lot of first-time fics, especially where Sam is the initiator, Dean always has to be talked into this being an ongoing thing. I'd like to not do that for a changeā¦and to Sam's surprise. But I think Dean gives up the last of his pretenses when he fucks Sam for the ritual. For it to work, Dean HAD to face that this is what he wants, what he's always wanted and that, if Sam wants him, then he's just going to go with that for as long as he can. Expecting resistance he doesn't get, Sam's the one who has to do some adjustment.
