thecatevariFurther musings on the tonsilectomy fic with Kyra:
When Sarah's all pregnant and Sam's really hesitant and like "...um. can I touch?" and he feels the baby and then he wants DEAN to touch her belly and Dean's all uncomfortable and "naw, man, I'm cool." and then Sam BADGERS him into it and Dean feels the baby kick and he gets this WIDE EYED look on his face like someone just kicked him and he's so fucking amazed and he looks at Sam and Sam grins back like "YES! Isn't that the BEST THING EVER?"

nymeria: he's wanted this baby for a while and it's finally THERE and he'd be so excited and pulling dean into his excitement, you know?
... although now i'm picturing chelsea asking dean if the new baby will change anything between her, her dad and her stepmonster.
poisontaster: Yes. Dean never got to DO any of this stuff with Chelsea. It's all new to him too.
I think Chelsea would be worried that it would change stuff.
nymeria: it could be an interesting opportunity to look at the relationship between chelsea and sam

nymeria: would she be worried sam would stop loving her once he has a kid of his own?
poisontaster: Yeah, I think she would.

and sam wouldn't notice this, too caught up in the whole I'M GOING TO BE A DAD! DDD thing
poisontaster: Not for a while. But Sam would be SO EXCITED. I think he'd even pull Chelsea in. "Hey! You want to hold her?" "Hey! Look! Her poo is GREEN!"
